By car
Finding parking spaces in Edinburgh can be difficult. We would recommend using public transport wherever possible. As the conference is on a Saturday, you may be able to find free weekend parking on a few nearby side streets, however these spaces tend to get quite busy. The closest ticketed car park to the Pleasance Theatre is the NCP St Johns Hill (Viewforth Gardens off Holyrood Road, EH8 9UQ) with 297 spaces including 4 disabled bays. Telephone 0345 050 7080.

By bus
The Pleasance Courtyard is well served by local bus services with the following routes running along Nicholson Street, which is a short walk from the courtyard. Refer to the Lothian Buses website for route information.

Please note that most buses in Edinburgh require you to give them the exact fare and cannot give you change!

By train
The Pleasance Theatre is a short walk or taxi ride from Edinburgh’s Waverley station.

Taxi drop-off points
On Pleasance, the road running alongside the entrances to the courtyard (west of the venue). From Waverley, a black cab will cost you just under £5.
